Franck & Tobiesen (UK) Limited was founded 1983. It was the daughter company of a large Danish ship broking company which in itself was founded in 1915. We broke the company mold when we set up in the United Kingdom whereby our head office was supplying vessels, stevedoring, general freight forwarding, paper transportation and other services we concentrated primarily on construction machinery and have never looked back.

The company is headed by Mr Rasmus Stokholm. His early years at our head office in Denmark were spent building his knowledge of project shipping, chartering and forwarding. This background and wealth of knowledge put him in good stead for his move to the UK to take on the new challenge of moving construction machinery around the world.

Bevo Speditions GMBH was founded in 1988 by Mr Bernd Vogelmann. Bernd originally worked in our UK office in the early years. He is creative and innovative in his approach to moving machinery around the world. Bernd heads up the company with a drive and determination second to none. The company has gone from strength to strength and is currently the leading shipper of construction machinery in the north continent of Europe.

Hansen Shipping Agency INC. was founded in 1993. The company is headed by Mr David Smith. David cut his teeth working in our UK office for 14 years office before heading to North America to take up our challenge to move our group into a truly worldwide arena. David has a flair and tenacity for the construction industry that has put the name and expertise of Hansen into the office of nearly every reputable dealer and end-user in North America.
